1. Principles
EditorialHub is committed to rigorous reporting, fact-checking, and a clear separation between news content, opinion, and advertising material. Our work is guided by the pursuit of factual truth and the public interest, without prioritising stories based on the commercial, political or personal interests of any team member.
We practise independent journalism: the newsroom has full editorial autonomy from both the commercial team and company leadership. This separation is structural — it does not rely on individual goodwill.
2. Reporting Standards
Every story is verified against at least two independent sources whenever possible. Single-source reporting is published only when the source is primary and identified (official document, audited filing, court ruling, public-company disclosure). When a relevant piece of information cannot be confirmed, the text states explicitly what remains unverified.
Right of reply is offered to any person or organization negatively cited, with a reasonable deadline for response before publication. When the deadline lapses without a reply, the attempt to contact is documented in the story itself.
3. Sourcing Policy
We protect the identity of confidential sources when there is a real risk to the source's physical, professional, or financial safety, but we do not attribute to anonymous sources statements obtainable through public channels. Paying for information is prohibited. Off-the-record agreements are honoured, but no source has veto power over the final text.
Leaked documents are authenticated before publication. The origin and motivation of the leak are considered, but they do not replace independent verification of the content.
4. Conflicts of Interest
Journalists and contributors must disclose any financial, family, or professional relationship with people, companies, or institutions covered. In case of conflict, the journalist is recused from the story. {{TO_BE_FILLED: name of the editor responsible for conflict declarations}}is the internal point of contact for these disclosures.
Political positions, board memberships, material investments and paid activities outside EditorialHub are declared annually by the editorial team and kept on internal record.
5. Review and Corrections
Every story passes through assignment review (focus and angle), editorial review (text and structure) and final review (spelling, figures, links, attributions) before publication. Material errors identified after publication are corrected transparently: the correction is displayed at the foot of the article with the date and nature of the change.
Serious errors trigger a highlighted retraction. See our corrections policy to report an error.
6. Sponsored Content and Advertising
Sponsored content is identified with the "Advertising" or "Sponsored Content" label at the top and bottom, in font and contrast equivalent to the body text. The editorial team does not participate in producing this material; it is developed by a separate commercial team.
Affiliate links (when present) are disclosed within the story. Advertisers do not receive preferential editorial coverage and cannot veto the publication of stories critical of their business.
